Core Truth: “With our initial salvation, God has equipped us – by the indwelling Spirit – with an introductory packet that includes everything we need. We have access to resources which, when utilized, will result in usefulness and fruitfulness both horizontally – in our relationships with others – and vertically – in our relationship with God. But having the right equipment is no guarantee that we’ll benefit from it. We must use that equipment properly.” (Chuck Swindoll).

Core Truth is: A wise person once said “The Devil doesn’t care how much theology you know… just as long as you don’t use any of it.” There is a great difference between appreciating Truth and appropriating it, and perhaps nowhere is this more true than when it comes to learning how to truly access what we have been given – the actual mind of Christ – the powerful resource with which to live godly and effective lives for Him while here on earth.

Core Truth: There are at least 114 times (depending on the Bible translation being used) when the well-known phrase or idiom “in that day” is used in Scripture to mark or pinpoint major changes in the forward flow of human history, some of which will be profoundly cataclysmic and destructive, and some of which will be glorious beyond believing. The danger is not only that the unbelieving world will opt to treat such information as a joke and live their lives accordingly, but that careless believers will be caught in the same trap.

Core Truth: In the swirling confusion of events occurring in the world right now, people’s daily lives have been greatly disturbed and many are experiencing whole new levels of uncertainty, fear and confusion. However, we as God’s people have been given “sure words of such unsure times” so that none of these things need to move us away from our faith in God nor from the tasks to which He has called us for such a time as this.

Core Truth: Whether we realize it or not, our reason for being here as Christians at this moment in history is most important to God and highly relevant to His purposes on the earth. Therefore, He expects us to live our lives accordingly.

Core Truth: We say we believe in Christ’s return – but too many Christians seem to live as though it’s probably not going to happen anytime soon and, truth be told, would prefer that it not!

Core Truth: In the confusion and uncertainty of today’s world, we can learn to rest in the certainty of our hope in Christ and in the fact that God has already given His final word on all things pertaining to this life to come!

Core Truth: Throughout human history God’s patience toward man’s rebellion has always had limits – from the time of Noah and the Great Flood to punishing Sodom and Gomorrah and more, it has never been a question of if God will finally say “I have had enough”, it has always been a matter of when!

God's glory will be revealed in us, in His church, and in the world.

The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.

We have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and we will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in our hearts.

Core Truth: The issue is not one of losing one's salvation; it is rather an admonition to make certain that one is indeed called and elect of God as evidenced by the fruits of one's daily life in Christ.
