Core Truth: The problem for many Christians is not that they have not really been born again and given a brand new life in Christ by the Spirit of God (see Ephesians 2:1). Rather, the problem is that in terms of their daily walk with Him, many are living largely fruitless lives compared to what He had in mind when in John 15:8 & 16 He said: “My Father is glorified and honored by this, when you bear much fruit, and (by so doing), prove yourselves to be My true disciples. You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.”

Core Truth – The same gift of faith that enabled me to first place my trust in Christ for my eternal salvation is also the faith that will carry me through life to that very goal – which leads to the question – if I can trust Him for my soul’s eternal destiny, can I not trust Him also for the demands and challenges of daily life?

Core Truth: The same gift of faith that enabled me in the first place to put my trust in Christ for my eternal salvation, is also the faith that will carry me through life to that very goal.

Core Truth: Even though at the moment of our conversion God puts inside of us the power to live a brand new life in Christ, we still must choose each day whether we will allow His Holy Spirit to now live that new life through us, or whether we will still attempt to live it on our own.

Core Truth: Our freedom in Christ is a finished and irreversible work of grace. However, that does not alter our power to choose good over evil, right over wrong, and righteousness instead of sin, and our freedom to live a victorious Christian life remains a matter of choice every moment that we live.

Core Truth: Whether of men or nations, it is ever true that freedom once secured must be sustained with great vigilance and continued sacrifice.
