Core Truth: Phil 4:6-7 tells us that we are to “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” However, while our faithful and loving God is most anxious to share His love and blessings with us as His children by both hearing and answering our prayers, too often He cannot do so because He can’t get our attention long enough to even have a conversation with us about them.
