Welcome!

Plymouth Haven seeks to provide a comprehensive, caring ministry to children and their parents. Through a broad range of programming, children experience acceptance, engage in learning, enjoy themselves, and express their faith. We believe it is important to capture the minds and imagination of children with Biblical Truth. Everything your child participates in, from lessons to games, will focus on teaching them the truth of the Gospel.

Nursery

Loving care for little ones, from newborns to preschool. The nursery is where we meet the needs of the youngest in our church family. Our time with these little ones - newborn through age three - is spent singing songs, engaging them in play, and teaching simple lessons about our Lord. This ministry allows parents to worship the Lord unencumbered. (Day & time varies, Room 211)

Bible Fellowship Hour

Our Bible Fellowship Hour classes (for children age three through sixth grade) provide age-appropriate Bible lessons and learning activities that are both fun and spiritually rich. The children learn about the character of God, the work of Christ, and the means of living in right relationship to Him. This is accomplished by presenting the whole counsel of God and demonstrating to children the unity, consistency, and sufficiency of the Scriptures for their lives. "[T]ell the generation to come the praises of the Lord and His strength and His wondrous works that He has done . . . that the generation to come might know them, the children who would be born, that they may arise and declare them to their children" (Psalm 78:4, 6).  (Sundays @ 9:15 a.m.).

Children’s Church

Children’s Church is a time for children (ages four thru fifth grade) to worship God with understanding and to have an opportunity to actively participate. Children’s Church provides creative alternatives to allow young children to worship. In Children’s Church we will explore what worship is and how God views worship. Through singing, praying, praising, giving and hearing God’s Word our children will develop a heart to worship God. Children are dismissed from the worship service in the Sanctuary, to Room 209 with the Children’s Director following the Children’s Sermon time. "Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering and come into his courts. Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth.” (Psalm 96: 8 & 9). (Sundays @ 10:30 a.m.)

MOM's Morning Out

MOMs Morning Out is designed to help you, as the need arises, with your infant/toddler childcare needs. Our skilled and caring staff offers a safe and loving environment to care for your little ones while you enjoy some much deserved time to yourself. MMO is a ministry of Plymouth Haven Baptist Church. It is offered daily, Monday - Friday, from 9 am – 12 pm. The cost is $35 per day. Register for Mom’s Morning Out on SignUpGenius for children 9 months and older.

MOMs Connect

MOMs Connect offers moms of school-aged children a safe place to discuss parenting challenges, experience spiritual growth and nurture friendships. Join MOMs Connect and gain a supportive, Bible-based perspective on life and parenting matters. "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." (I Thessalonians 5:11). (2nd and 4th Wednesdays, 9:15 – 10:45 am, Sept. - May; Childcare is available).

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School at Plymouth Haven is like you’ve never experienced before! VBS is open to children age 4 through those completing 6th grade. Participation is FREE! (donation drives will be held during the week for missions work but participation in these drives is not required). At the conclusion of VBS, a family fun time for a children’s program will be held on Friday evening. It’s always entertaining and a lot of fun to see what the children have been working on all week.

Plymouth Haven Christian Preschool

For children ages 2 to prekindergarten, check out Plymouth Haven Christian Preschool which has 2, 3 and 5-day per week attendance options for the school year (September – May). For more information, visit the Plymouth Haven Christian Preschool website.

Children's Choir

The Children’s Choir presents music at various times during the year. Children’s music is part of our Sunday evening program for children held from 6 - 7 pm.
