Bible Fellowship Groups
(Sundays, 9:15 am, Education Building)
Messengers. The Messengers Class uses “Bible Studies for Life” material provided from Lifeway. These studies are designed to equip adults to understand how faith impacts their families, their careers, and their struggles. And all the while challenging them to live out their faith, right where they are, right as they are. (Room 219)
Pathfinders. The Pathfinders Class is a cross generational family of believers seeking to impress the Lord’s word into its hearts and outward to our community. The class studies “Explore the Bible” material provided from Lifeway. We use the diverse experience of its family to enrich the material. In Pathfinders you will find believers in many stages of life but with whom all share a common goal, to seek God’s will for their lives. We pray you will find a Church home in which to serve and offer our assurance that Pathfinders is ready to come alongside you to help you on your way. (Room 125).
Esther. The Esther class, senior, adult women, uses the Life Ventures material from Lifeway. We are a group of ladies who enjoy life, love the Lord, have a sense of humor, are interested in family and community activities, and have a variety of hobbies - who wouldn’t love us? Our unique camaraderie is a blessing. Class participation is encouraged as we study God’s Word and accept the challenge to grow spiritually, and to experience a deeper relationship with Christ. (Room 214).
Lanier. The Lanier Fellowship Class is the elderly gentlemen’s class of the Plymouth Haven Sunday School, also known humorously as “The Last Roundup.” Our purpose is to serve the Lord and continue the discipling process of our members through Bible study. Our members are among the pillars of the church who donate a dollar each Sunday to the class “kitty” for beneficent purposes and especially the Virginia Baptist Children’s Home. Our study focus has been and continues to be based on our loving God with all our heart and mind, and with God’s grace to love others as we would appreciate their loving us. Sunday School helps us keep that in focus. (Room 216).
